After spending a lot of time looking for the perfect martial arts school, we can see that we made the right choice in sending my two sons to Elite. My boys are always excited to hear that they have a class to go to. The entire Elite staff has does a wonderful job teaching them valuable lessons for on the mat and in life. One of the best lessons my kids are learning is that not everything is given and that if you want something you have to earn it.

I can’t say enough good things about EMA. Enrolling my daughter here is by far the best decision we have ever made for her! She started out very shy and quiet, and thanks to the wonderful instructors here, she has gained so much confidence and now speaks loud and proud. They truly care about each student here. My daughter used to spend a lot of time on the computer and now comes home and practices the moves she learned in class for fun. She looks forward to karate each week and enjoys the fun events they host at the dojo as well. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

My daughter Sara has joined EMA about a year and a half ago and I have noticed almost immediately changes in her: her self-confidence has increased and she works very hard on improving her skills - she used to be easily demoralized when she couldn't immediately succeed at something, but now she is learning to persevere. Each of the instructors has something unique to offer and it is clear that they care for the progress of each kid. Thank you Sensei Ryan, Hany, Franco and Kailyn!
Following is the opinion of Sara:
"I feel that EMA is the best thing I have ever done - it is super fun and helps me with physical and mental health. I also like the mat talks that they do once in a while at the end of class because they help with your character in the dojo and outside and they are also very good to listen. I LOVE EMA!"

The instructors at Elite in Morganville are incredible. The facility is clean, the environment is nurturing and friendly, and I've never never seen a single employee or instructor without a smile on their face. My Little Dragon LOVES it there and has learned a great deal (about respect and trust just as much as blocks and stances) in two short months.
Today, she had her fifth birthday party there and Sensei Ryan and Deshi Franco and Deshi Raphael were fantastic with the kids. They kept twenty, five year olds completely entertained and well-behaved. They came in on a Sunday for us because we couldn't find a Saturday in December to do it. I couldn't be more satisfied with her birthday party. They truly went above and beyond.
I really can't say enough good things about the people and this place!!

The instructors at Elite are excellent at using positive reinforcement to motivate and teach the students about focus and discipline. I love that they also encourage peer leadership and role modeling, as the older, more experienced students step in to say positive words to the younger/beginner students, and they really lead by example. Everyone at Elite is personable and professional, and it was the best decision I made for my kids. They just graduated from white belt to yellow belt, and they came home feeling proud and confident. Thanks to the instructors, who give the kids at Elite their 100% every day. As a teacher, I know it can be hard, but they are ALWAYS uplifting, pleasant and show kids that they too need to come with positive attitudes. Plus they allow the kids to have fun! A great balance :)

My son Patrick has been attending karate classes at Elite for the last two years. He is now five and has been accepted to their BBT program. All the teachers are awesome, they balance their expectations on age and make the classes fun but also teach discipline.
I just started my classes in Krav and I love it as well! I was worried to join as I am completely out of shape, never took any type of martial arts classes (my background is dance) and the fitness levels vary by student. However, I was welcomed with open arms by Sensei Hany and classmates. I already see my stamina building and look forward to the next class. I highly recommend these classes to get in shape!

Love EMA! They truly care for their students' all around well being. They teach self discipline, foster confidence, encourage students to put forth their greatest effort in all they do. They command and show respect for all. They are willing to invest their time and lend their expertise to any situation a student may be having difficulty navigating. This is not just a martial arts school, it's a stellar way of life school.

Our son Jonathan , aka JZ, was invited to attend our niece's birthday party at Elite Martial Arts in December of 2010. He had so much fun and decided to come back to try out a class which he absolutely loved. He started in the BBT classes at age 10 with Sensei Hany, Sensei MJ. (Who presently is at the Colts Neck School) Sensei Ryan, Deshi Amanda & Deshi Kailyn. These amazing and energetic group of instructors encourage and support the children to always do their best, not only on the Mat but in school as well. They honestly care about each and every single child who attends EMA. EMA was the best thing that could've happened to our son JZ. It helped him to become more focused, set himself goals, and greatly helped with his confidence and discipline , all while enjoying a great sport and making new friends. Shihan Chris, his wife Peggy, and they're beautiful daughter Emily are the nicest and kindest people one can ever meet. They treat everyone like family . We love our EMA family which consists of all the parents, children who attend and the staff to whom we are very thankful for. Our son JZ is now 16years old and has earned his first degree black belt through arduous training at EMA . JZ is currently enrolled in their Krav Maga classes. JZ has come a very long way in the past 61/2 years. He has grown to be a very confident, respectful, disciplined , physically fit and strong young man. We highly recommend EMA !!

I can hardly find the words to describe the impact EMA had on my sons life. It's not just martial arts training, it's a way of life. My son first tried out the basic karate class when he was 5, after failed attempts at other schools. He was diagnosed with Aspergers, ADHD and Anxiety, and I was feeling hopeless that we'd find somewhere that could actually help him reach his fullest potential. But EMA did just that. Deshi Kailyn worked one on one with him until he felt comfortable enough to get on the mat. In a few short months, he went from scared and shy to confident and hardworking. He was even invited to join the BBT class, where he thrived. Throughout the course of his training there our family made the difficult decision to relocate to Florida. One of the hardest parts of leaving NJ was saying goodbye to our EMA family. At Jake's last night there, they gave him a sweet send off that he will never forget. I can honestly say trying to find a comparable martial arts school has been impossible. They are truly one of a kind and if they ever open a school in Orlando we will be the first in line to sign up.

most amazing transformation of my son in only 3 months, even his teachers said they see a huge change in him in his strength, self confidence, and self control. I highly recommend it, they are place where you have to earn your success and not just have it handed to you. The teachers are amazing with the kids too.

I wish I could find the words to accurately describe the positive impact EMA has had on my son. They instill that hard work, respect towards others and dedication is a way of life. I am consistently in awe of how they take each class and equate it to "real life" and teach a lesson. The children that attend are taught self confidence, mutual respect towards others, that hard work pays off and to be proud in who they are. I brought my son here for exercise and to gain self confidence and he has gained so much more. I recently signed my daughter up as well when I initially had no intention because I only see the positive influence it will have on her. The are very professional and I only wish I had found them sooner.
